This course will primarily cover the assessment of damaged equipment and the process of making prompt decisions regarding repair or replacement. The key areas of focus will include cost-benefit analysis, learning how to calculate savings using reverse engineering compared to equipment replacement, and presenting case studies of successful implementations.  Additionally, the course will explore the importance of providing swift repairs to reduce business interruption exposure using simulations and expert insights to reinforce this concept. Attendees will also learn strategies for managing component obsolescence, including minimizing system designs by sourcing obsolete parts, or adapting to newer alternatives.
