How to Generate Electrical Power
Course Description
This course provides agents and adjusters with a foundational understanding of what electrical power is, how it is generated, and how it is distributed from power plants to residential, commercial, and industrial users. Participants will learn key electrical concepts and terminology commonly encountered in insurance claims and underwriting.
The course examines how electrical anomalies, faults, and failures trigger coverage issues, cause property damage, and contribute to business interruption. Real-world examples illustrate how understanding electrical systems can lead to faster, more accurate claim decisions and reduced downtime for insureds.
